| PURPOSE
The purpose of the SEPM Foundation, Inc. is to raise and distribute funds in support of SEPM (Society for Sedimentary Geology) activities. The Foundation is essentially the fund raising arm of the Society. Through its various funds, support is given to student activities, publications, short courses, research conferences and other appropriate endeavors.
GIFTS AND DONATIONS
The Foundation is a United States 501(c)(3) corporation and as such, donations and gifts are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Gifts and donations in the form of cash or securities are all welcome. Planned giving through a will or trust is also deeply appreciated. If you have any questions please contact the Foundation at 800-865-9765 or foundation@sepm.org.

FUNDS

ENDOWMENT CAMPAIGN
In order to increase the amount of money available
for grants each year, the Foundation is having
an endowment campaign, with a goal of reaching
a $1 million dollar endowment. This amount
will allow the Foundation, through its various
funds to to give significant grants on a continuing
basis, rather than having a continuous series
of short term fund raising efforts to support
individual projects. Details of the our

Currently, the Foundation has almost $600,000
and the Endowment Campaign has raised over $330,000.
