Current Projects

Current research projects involve PhD, MSc and BSc students and primarily focus on the following topics:

  • The distribution of particulate organic matter in Early Cretaceous mudstone succession in Poland, France and Germany
  • The occurrence and stratigraphic significance of angiosperm pollen in Albian successions of the Lusitanian Basin
  • The response of continent-derived organic matter input to the late Cretaceous oceanic anoxic event (OAE) 2
  • Carbonate platform drowning and recovery during Cretaceous climate anomalies
